Yottled allows you, the business owner or staff, to create memberships on the behalf of your customers.
Requirements
This guide assumes you have already created membership plans - which are used to create a membership. If you have not yet created membership plans, follow our Creating membership plans guide.
Creating a membership for a customer
- Visit your members' view on your Yottled dashboard, and click the “Create” button located on the top right.
2. Complete the required and optional fields on the form
Fields
- Membership plan: Select the plan on which the membership being created should be based.
- Customer: Select the customer which you’d like to associate the membership with.
- Start date: Date start date on which your customer will have access to the offerings included in the membership.
- End date: Leave this field empty unless you’d like to pick a date on which the membership should automatically be canceled.
- Start billing cycle: The date the billing should begin for this membership. If different than the membership start date field, the invoice sent to the customer will be automatically prorated.
- Free trial: Select how many days until your customer is charged for the membership. The customer will have access to the offerings included in the membership during the trial period.
- Payment methods: You must select a valid payment method that will be used to pay for the invoices associated with this membership.
