A gift card is a form of payment that can be used to make purchases at your storefront. The gift card's recipient can then spend for any service they wish to avail. Gift cards charge a fee to purchase them.
Let's learn how to create a Gift Card and then you can also find the steps on how your customer will see the gift card they have received.
- Go to Sales >> Catalog
- Click on Create button to see the options like Service, Product, Gift Card, and Credit Packs
- Once you click on the Gift Card option, it will prompt you to enter the Title of the gift card
- You can add a description if you wish
- You can add the Image if you wish. Also, you will have the option to choose an image from your computer or upload a new asset from the browser.
- Click Select to upload the image
- Click on Add Variant and choose the amount you wish to deliver to anyone as a gift card and click on the Save button to confirm the amount. Just to let you know you can have more than one amount set as a Gift card by adding multiple variants.
- Again click on the Save button to add the Gift card to your storefront
- Now since the gift card is created, you can view the same by clicking on "Visit Page on the top
- Click on the amount you wish to send the gift card.
- When you click on the amount you will get a pop-up window on which you have to enter the "Recipients email" your email and a tiny message
- Click on Continue
- It will take you to enter the details like an email address (Recipient's), phone number, and card number.
Note: (a) They get an e-gift card delivered to their email. The email has a code they can use during online or in-person checkout.
(b) The convenience fee is applied anytime there is a swipe of a credit card. So the convenience fee will apply when they buy the gift card. Then...if they want to book a session where the gift card covers the entire session there is no fee. However if the gift card does not cover the entire cost of the session and they need to pay a balance, there will be a convenience fee.

Now let's see how your customer will get a view of your gift card:
1. After following the above steps, your customer will receive an email stating XXXXXXXXXX@XXX.XXX has sent you a gift card!
2. Your customer needs to simply click on the View Gift Card button and they will get a unique code that they can either copy or take print then click on Visit Online Store Button and finally your customer will land on your storefront
3. They can click on the service they wish to avail of, choose the date and time, duration (in multiple choices) and location (if multiple choices) click on the Continue button
4. Enter the code (Apply Gift Card or Discount) while checking out. Enter the card details and click on check-out button

A. Yes. Once your client receives the email they can have to option to print it. In addition, you will be able to see and print the unique gift card code on any content you want.
